Request for Bids for Commercial Roof Replacement:

South County Community Action is soliciting bids from qualified contactors to provide a roof replacement to the facility located at 415 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, RI. A walk through and inspection of the existing roof will be available on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:00 am. Formal bid packages with a complete Scope of Work will be available during the walk through. Attendance at the walk through is not mandatory, but all potential bidders are encouraged to attend. Beginning on Friday, May 8, 2015, bid packages may also be obtained by visiting South County CAA’s Administrative Office located at 1935 Kingstown Road, Wakefield, RI or may be downloaded at www.sccainc.org . South County Community Action reserves the right to waive any information in, or to reject any and all proposals, or to award to other than the lowest cost proposal if deemed to be in the best interest of the Agency and to do so without further explanation. South County has secured CDBG funds for this project and final award is subject to completion of environmental review, release of federal CDBG funds, and all other regulations which will be identified within the bid package. All work associated with this project is subject to Davis Bacon Act and prevailing wage rate. The current prevailing wage rates will be included in the bid packet. The deadline for bid submission is May 18, 2015. Ten days prior to the bid due date, the prevailing wage rates will be checked.
