• 2 killed in fiery Rhode Island interstate crash that shut down traffic for hours (komonews.com) — A North Providence resident and teacher was driving to pick up her son when she witnessed a horrific I‑295 crash that killed two people and shut northbound traffic for hours. State police say a southbound car crossed the median near Mendon Road and hit a pickup head-on, underscoring how quickly routine drives can turn tragic.
