Pawtucket Man Charged With Check Kiting, Conspiracy: Cops
The Pawtucket man was also charged with forgery and counterfeiting, police said.
PAWTUCKET, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested on charges of check kiting and conspiracy, police said.
Iliandro Freitas, 19, also was charged with forgery and counterfeiting, and obtaining more than $1,500 worth of property by false pretenses, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Freitas was arraigned and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions, according to the release.
