Warwick Man Charged With DUI After Wrong-Way Crash: Cops
Troopers responded to the wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 in West Greenwich, police said.
WEST GREENWICH, RI β A Warwick man was charged with driving under the influence following a wrong-way crash on Interstate 95 in West Greenwich, police said.
James Gowdy, 49, was arrested shortly after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Gowdy was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor, refusing to submit to a chemical test and reckless driving, the release said.

Gowdy was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
