Pawtucket Man Pleads Guilty To Possessing Child Pornography: Feds

The Pawtucket man possessed hundreds of child pornography images, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Pawtucket man pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Providence to possessing child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

William Dickson, 61, was scheduled to be sentenced July 13.

"According to court documents, law enforcement identified an online peer-to-peer file sharing account used by Dickson to download and share" child sexual abuse material, according to a media release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

"On April 10, 2024, federal agents executed search warrants on Dickson’s residence, person, and vehicle, where they seized multiple electronic devices," the release said, adding, "A forensic analysis of the defendant’s devices revealed approximately 820 images and 20 videos depicting CSAM."
