Woonsocket Man Wanted On Larceny Charge Captured: Cops
The Woonsocket man was wanted in connection with a Providence Police Department case, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Woonsocket man wanted on a larceny charge was captured, police said.
Anthony Ortiz, 19, was arrested Thursday on a warrant charging him with larceny from a person, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Ortiz was apprehended by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, the release said.

The charge was in connection with a Providence Police Department case, according to the release.
"Mr. Ortiz was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department on scene," the release said.
