RI Board Of Elections Upholds City Council Primary Results
The results first reported from the primary remain unchanged after the state Board of Elections certified them on Tuesday.

PROVIDENCE, RI — The Rhode Island Board of Elections certified the results of the recent city council primary races on Tuesday, with no change in the winner of any races across the city.
According to Uprise RI, two races didn't qualify for a recount, those being in Senate District 29 and Providence City Council Ward 15. In House District 58, the Board of Elections continued the matter until Thursday, Uprise reported.
Among the closely contested races to be decided is Ward 3, where Corey Jones was narrowly defeated by Susan Anderbois. Jones posted a statement to Twitter after the decision:

"Today, the board of elections certified the results of the election. I want to congratulate our next Ward 3 Councilor @Anderbois. I look forward to working with her on bringing the issues my campaign was all about to the table," he said.
With those votes now recounted or at least affirmed by the board, here are the winners of the primary elections:
