Woonsocket Man Wanted On Sexual Assault Charge Apprehended: Cops
The Woonsocket man was arrested by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Woonsocket man wanted on a sexual assault charge was apprehended by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, police said.
Matthew Guertin, 32, was arrested Wednesday on a warrant charging him with second-degree sexual assault, the state police said in a media release.
The warrant was obtained in connection with a Providence Police Department case, according to the release.

"Mr. Guertin was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Providence Police Department," the release said.
