Providence's Track 15 Adding 2 New Restaurants
The two new restaurants are replacing two that are leaving.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Track 15 is adding two new restaurants to its lineup.
Moving in are a second location for Newport’s Yagi Noodles and a new concept, Grumpy Pies.

Departing Track 15 are Giusto PVD and Mother Pizzeria PVD.
“It was an incredible honor to have been part of this landmark project and to bring a little taste of Newport to Providence,” Kevin O’Donnell, chef and owner of Giusto and a partner at Mother Pizzeria, said in a media release.

“We are grateful to the Marsella family for their support throughout this journey and to our fellow restaurateurs for their camaraderie," O'Donnell said.
Grumpy Pies, which serves Roman-style party pizza, or “pizza alla pala,” opens April 2, according to the release, with a soft opening April 1.

“I am excited for the opportunity to open Grumpy Pies at Track 15,” chef Ian Cappelano said in the release.
“Not only does it fulfill a dream of mine, but it will showcase an underrepresented style of pizza in a vibrant space," Cappelano said. "In a state with a long tradition of other styles of bakery pies, I’m looking forward to bringing ‘pizza alla pala’ to the forefront of the pizza conversation.”

Yagi Noodles' opening date has yet to be determined but is planned for late April, according to the release.
“The timing could not be better for us to take advantage of this opportunity to join our friends at Track 15 and bring Yagi Noodles to a broader audience of locals and visitors to Rhode Island,” chef Basil Yu, a co-owner of Yagi Noodles, said in the release.
