Wanted MA Man Jailed After Warwick Traffic Stop: Cops

WARWICK, RI — A wanted Massachusetts man was jailed following a traffic stop in Warwick, police said.

Desman Alvarez, 41, was pulled over on Interstate 295 shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday and arrested on a warrant charging him with missing court for a driving with a suspended license case, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Alvarez, a resident of Dorchester, was processed at the Wickford Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake, the release said.
