Providence Man Arrested On Gun Charges: Cops

WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Providence man was pulled over in West Greenwich and arrested on gun charges, police said.

Darniel Polanco-Cortorreal, 22, was stopped on Nooseneck Hill Road shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and arrested on charges of license or permit to carry concealed pistol or revolver and large capacity feeding devices prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Darniel Polanco-Cortorreal was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and held pending an arraignment, where he was to be presented as a bail violator, according to the release.
