Police Log: May 21 - 25

The following is a list of notable arrests made by Woonsocket Police between the dates of May 21 and May 25:

Monday, May 21:

• Police arrested Alexis Andino-Ortiz, 20, of 133 Fourth Ave., apt. 3rd on a bench warrant from Sixth District Court at 12:50 a.m.
• Police arrested Medina Alexandra, 20, of 419 North Main St., at 5:13 p.m. at 453 Pond St. and charged her with simple assault.

Tuesday, May 22:

• Police arrested Jason Marc Hanois, 32, of 162 Cote Ave., Apt. 1R, at 8 Washington St. He was charged with failing in his duty to stop at a the scene of motor vehicle crash with damage to the other vehicle, and driving with a suspended/revoked license.
• Police arrested Jasmine Jiminez, 26, of 30 Chalapa Drive, charging her with domestic assault and domestic vandalism, misdemeanors, as well as fourth degree arson, a felony, after she assaulted a man and tried to set fire to his car.
• Police arrested Timothy Earl Ring, 36, of 157 Fairfield Ave., apt. 1st, at 413 Manville Road at 5:26 p.m., and charged him with breaking and entering and burglary.
• Police arrested Maurice Edmond Lacroix, 61, of 102 Harrison Ave., apt. 1st, at 413 Manville Road at 6:06 p.m., and charged him with breaking and entering and burglary.

Wednesday, May 23:

• Police arrested Michelle Young, 49, of 167 Lake Shore Dr., apt. 2, Blackstone, MA,  and charged her with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol, first offense, on Summer Street at 7:01 p.m.
• Police arrested Charles Welch, 22, of 31 Paradis Ave., and charged him with domestic assault with a deadly weapon and refusal to relinquish a telephone.

Thursday, May 24:

• At 7:52 a.m., Keith Cabana, 34, of 18 Oakley Road turned himself in for the felony assault of Chris Kelley on May 7.
• At 2:26 a.m., police arrested Kimberly Evelyn Sweet, 28, of 180 Allen St., apt. 107, at 329 South Main St. and charged her with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol, first offense.

Friday, May 25:

• At 12:42 p.m., police arrested Luke Anastas, 20, of 407 Moonhill Road, Northbridge, MA, at 497 Rathbun St. , apt. 2L, and charged him with first degree robbery and conspiracy.
• Police arrested Patrick M. Tucker, 20, of 37 Paradis Ave., apt. 3, at 51 Wood Ave. and charged him with larceny under $500.
