Providence Man Pleads To Planning Cocaine Distribution: Feds
A search of the Providence man's residence turned up about 47 grams of cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man pleaded to planning to distribute cocaine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Charles Lassiter, 32, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a media release.
"According to court documents, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force conducted an investigation into narcotics trafficking that identified Lassiter as involved in cocaine distribution," the release said.

A subsequent court-authorized search of Lassiter's residence in December 2023 turned up about 47 grams of cocaine, according to the release.
Lassiter's sentencing was scheduled for June 25.
