Woonsocket Police Log: Man Visits Police Station Drunk, Hits Detective's Car

At least his friend got out
Corey Rivet, 21, of 29 Grand Ave. in Cumberland was arrested early Sunday morning at the Woonsocket Police Department. Rivet was allegedly picking up his friend, who was involved in an earlier incident. Several officers reportedly watched as Rivet's black Volkswagon backed into Det. Capt. Edward Lee's Ford Crown Victoria as he tried to leave the station.Â
When officers questioned Rivet he replied that he had consumed three beers and a mixed drink in one hour at Cityside. Rivet failed a field sobriety test and was charged with driving under the influence.

A False 911 Call
Annmarie Horace Harrop, 44, of 109 Arnold St. was arrested on Saturday after allegedly reporting that her boyfriend had overdosed on Suboxone. According to reports, Harrop had been removed from the residence earlier in the evening. A rescue was en route as officers arrived to investigate and speak with Edward Sniadowski, 53. Â Â Â

Sniadowski told police he was fine and that Harrop had given a false report to gain access to his home. Emergency personnel verified that Sniadowski had not overdosed. He told police that he had recently broken up with Harrop and would not let her in to his apartment. Harrop was arrested for providing false information to 911.
Two arrested after report of suspicious activtity
Tamara Lyn Coonan, 41 of 805 Front St. and Myles Connor, 68, of Blackstone, MA were arrested on Saturday after officers were dispatched for a report of a suspicious looking female wearing all black and looking into cars. As police pulled up to the area at 228 School St., a woman, who officers later identified as Coonan allegedly began running. Reports state that officers chased her for 30 yards before detaining her.
Coonan told police she was with two male subjects who officers located at a car nearby. Upon searching the vehicle, police found a bottle cap containing suspected narcotics, a mirror covered in a white powdery substance, two glass crack pipes, seven syringes and a white round pill which was later identified as Methylphendate. Coonan was taken in for two warrants and Connor was arrested for two counts of felony possession of narcotics.
Other police activity
Juan Batista, 25, of 377 Grove St. was arrested on Friday at Post 62 at 19 Arnold St. for domestic assault and refusal to relinquish a telephone.
Marni Maycock, 37, of 214 Estes St. was arrested on Friday for obstructing an officer in the execution of duty.
Richard Anthony Gregelevich, 44, of 105 Main St. was arrested on Friday for domestic assault at 128 Cass Ave.
Chyron Turelle Abney, 25, of 74 Prospect St. was arrested on Saturday for driving without a license, possession of marijuana and manufacture/delivery of narcotics. Police allegedly located crack cocaine with a street value of $340 and $541 in cash in his possession.
Steven Velez, 21, of 241 Rathbun St was arrested Monday morning for violation of a protection order, violation of a restraining order, obstructing an officer in the line of duty and a bench warrant at 133 Rockridge Dr.
