Cross Country Home Services (CCHS) and Anderson Interfaith Missions presented a new refrigerator, washer, dryer and a wheelchair ramp to Curtis Gooding, a retired U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War.
Additionally, Tim Thacker was presented a new washer and dryer. Thacker is a retired U.S. Army veteran who served during the Iraqi/Afghanistan War.
These donations are part of Operation Appliance AidSM, a program of CCHS that provides new appliances, appliance packages and home systems to veteran and military service families in need throughout the country.

CCHS is one of the nation’s leading providers of cost-effective home solutions, including warranty products and maintenance plans, and operates a customer care facility in Anderson. Operation Appliance Aid was launched last year and has helped eight families to date.
