Cheryl Ann Cogdill Ballew

Mrs. Cheryl Ann Cogdill Ballew, 60, of 2926 Pelzer Highway, wife of William "Bill" Ballew, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born August 7, 1951 in Asheville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Dix Cogdill. Mrs. Ballew was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family and will be greatly missed in their lives.

In addition to her husband of forty two years, she is survived by her son, Billy Ballew (fiancé Mallory); daughters, Penny Stewart (Josh) and Jenny Ethridge (Teddy); brother, Richard Cogdill, Jr, sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Bennie Ballew, nephews, Joey, Michael and Wesley Ballew; and her beautiful granddaughter, Madison Grace Stewart for whom she dearly loved and lived for.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Catherine Ballew.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends following the burial at the cemetery.
