Clemson Arts Center to Celebrate Storytelling

An event next month will celebrate the power of stories.

The Clemson Area Storytellers Guild is teaming up with The Arts Center for the 5^th Annual “Celebration of Story.”

The celebration will be held Tuesday, March 5 at 6:30pm at The Arts Center, located at 212 Butler Street, Clemson.

The event will be an evening of spoken word, visual arts and music.

“Celebration of Story” features the Clemson Area Storytellers Guild, Billy Boggs and Matthew Phillips, Wendel Craker, Cathlene Morris and Judy Seeley.

The Sweet Potato Pie Kids, the performing group of the Young Appalachian Musicians program, which teaches students traditional mountain music, will also perform at “Celebration of Story.”

Admission to the event is free, but please bring a canned food item to donate to Clemson Community Care.

Seating is limited, so arrive early. Groups of 10 or more should call 864-276-2166 or 864-855-6396.
