A Pickens County man was killed Friday night after a car traveling on Ponder Cemetery Road struck him and his son, <a href="http://www2.wspa.com/news/2011/oct/07/3/one-person-transported-after-wreck-pickens-county-ar-2524290/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">according to WSPA.com</a>.  Michael Cummings, 38, was walking while his 12-year-old son rode his bike when a car, whose driver was blinded by sunlight, struck the pair. Cummings was pronounced dead at the scene and his son is being treated for injuries at Baptist Easley Hospital. The driver, Julie Hammond of Easley was not injured in the accident, according to WSPA.com.
