District Names Honor Roll Employees

The School District of Pickens County has named its 2012-2013 Honor Roll Teachers and Support Employees. 

Honor Roll Teachers/Support Employees Recognized for 2012-2013The Honor Roll Teachers and Support Employees for the 2012-2013 school year have been chosen!

Each year, four teachers and four support employees are chosen as finalists for the Teacher of the Year and Support Employee of the Year Awards. The finalists are chosen based on characteristics including dedication, skill, initiative and integrity.

This year's Honor Roll Teachers are:

• Kathleen Dickel - Daniel High School, German
• Kelly Sheppard - Pickens High School, Business Education
• Darleen Sutton - Pickens Elementary School, 1st Grade
• Frances Young - Liberty High School, Math

This year's Honor Roll Support Employees are:

• Donyea Brown - Clemson Elementary, Asst. Director of After School Programs
• Sharon Durham - Six Mile Elementary, Secretary/Bookkeeper
• Kela Simpson - West End Elementary, Title I Facilitator
• Gene Zeigler - Dacusville Middle School, Special Ed. Teaching Assistant

The Teacher of the Year and Support Employee of the Year winners will be announced at the Back-to-School Celebration on August 17 at Easley High School.
