Donors Give Boost to YMCA Swim Program

Two companies recently gave a generous boost to the Pickens County YMCA Operation Save A Life program, according to a recent article in The Easley Progress. Easley-based Anchor Pools contributed $500 and the Redwoods Group Foundation in Morrisville, NC, gave $750.

The Operation Save A Life program is coordinated by the Pickens County YMCA and the American Red Cross of Pickens County. The program offers swim lessons to local kids in effort to decrease the number of water-related emergencies, according to the Pickens County YMCA website.
