The Easley Business and Professional Women's Club recently awarded three $500 scholarships to local students. The scholarships were awarded during the club's meeting Wednesday. The awards were given to Aubrey Blalock, a student at the University of South Carolina, Clemson University student Anna Qualkinbush and Danielle York. York was unable to attend the meeting. Scholarship applications address academic and extra-curricular achievement as well as written essays addressing the student"s biography, education and career goals, and vision of future achievements.
