Easley Firefighters Battle Early Morning Fire

An early morning fire ravaged a local business on Rock Springs Road

The Easley Fire Department battled an early-morning fire at an Easley business on Rock Springs Road.

At 3:36 a.m. the fire department responded to a call at Casual Cuts Salon and Spa at 755 Rock Springs Road, according to Fire Chief Butch Womack.

Crystal Holcombe of Liberty, the owner of the business, said she received a call from ADT Security shortly after 3 a.m. and was notified that police had been dispatched to the business.

Firefighters don't know what caused the fire but said it will be under investigation.

"We'll have a crew in here in a little bit, they're standing by for daylight hours," Womack said.
