The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash in Anderson County late Saturday night. John Daniel Lyons, 62, of Easley died after losing control of his 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle, <a href="http://www.independentmail.com/news/2011/aug/28/easley-motorcyclist-dies-anderson-county-wreck/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Anderson Independent Mail.</a> The accident occurred at approximately 11:36 p.m. on Saturday on the Cherry Street Extension near the intersection of Danenhower Road, according to police. Lyons was traveling east on the Cherry Street extension when he lost control and veered off the right side of the road colliding with a concrete culvert ejecting him from the motorcycle. Lyons was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to police.
