Easley Man Pleads Guilty to Assault, Criminal Domestic Violence
Brandon Kevin Garren sentenced to 15 years in prison.

A judge has sentenced an Easley man to 15 years in prison after he pleaded guilty last week to aggravated assault and criminal domestic violence charges, 13th Circuit Solicitor Walter Wilkins said Tuesday.
Brandon Kevin Garren, 50, of 1235 Hunts Bridge Road, was charged with one count each of assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, Wilkins said.
On January 29, 2012, prosecutors said, Garren repeatedly struck his wife, threatened her life, and pointed a gun at her head during a fight at the couple's home.
The victim suffered severe facial fractures and multiple bruises stemming from the altercation, Wilkins said.
Garren also admitted to Judge Letitia Verdin that over the span of 24 hours in June of last year he "repeatedly beat his wife about the head and body with an assortment of items found in the couple's home," Wilkins said.
