Easley Officials to Consider Redrawing District Lines

Easley Town officials are considering redrawing the town's voting district lines to adjust for population growth.

Population growth in Easley over the past few decades has caused an imbalance in the town's voting districts and town officials are currently looking at redrawing the district lines, according to a recent article on Greenville Online.

Easley had 19,993 residents according to the 2010 census, but not all Easley voting districts have grown as much as others. District 5, Easley's minority district, is considerably smaller than District 1, according to Greenville Online.
