- Easley City Council unanimously approved the first reading of a city ordinance to annex two adjacent properties located along Calhoun Memorial Highway and Cardinal Drive Monday night. Read more.

- The Easley City Council passed a resolution on Monday to proclaim the week of Aug. 14-20 as Farmers Market Week. Read more.
