- Easley Police have charged an Easley man with the attempted murder of another man.
- JR Automation Technologies LLC, a Michigan-based maker of automation equipment for the automotive, pharmaceutical, food and general industries, announced plans Tuesday to expand and locate its new sales, engineering and manufacturing facility in Pickens County.

- A 23-year-old man originally from Summerville was found dead Friday in the woods in the Upstate, according to Fox 21.
