Elderly Woman's Death Still Under Investigation
Eloise Arnold's death possibly heat-related; autopsy results expected within 4-6 weeks.

The death of an elderly Easley woman remains under investigation, and Coroner Kandy Kelley says her death was possibly heat related.
Eloise Arnold, 84, a resident of Majesty Health and Rehab, was transported to Baptist Easley on June 30 after being found unresponsive.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Kelley said yesterday that air conditioning was out in one of the facility's three wings when Arnold collapsed.
Kelley said an autopsy was performed on Arnold today.

Results are expected within 4-6 weeks, she said.
Arnold's death is being investigated by the Pickens County Coroner's Office and the Easley Police Department.
Arnold would have turned 85 today.
