Mr. Ernest A. Nolan, 94, husband of sixty-seven years to the late Mary Lee Jameson Nolan, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Joseph A. and Lou Aiken Nolan, Mr. Nolan was a retired textile supervisor, but his true love was farming. He was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Nolan and Judy Nolan, both of Easley. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Nolan was predeceased by a brother, Hovie Nolan; and three sisters, Beulah Shirley, Lila Tinsley and Blanche Pepper.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Cedar Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Garmon officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church, prior to the service.
