ESPN Broadcasts Big League World Series Tonight From Easley

The U.S. Southeast team from Greenville will play against the Latin American team from Puerto Rico tonight. The final game in the 2011 Big League World series will be televised at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

Tonight the U.S. Southeast team will face Puerto Rico to vie for the international title in the Big League World Series. The game will be televised live at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

Puerto Rico won the Big League World Series in 2010 and remains undefeated in the tournament this year.

The U.S. Southeast team from Greenville beat the South Carolina District 1 host team with a score of 8-5 Tuesday night during the semi-final game, securing their spot in the final game.

The international semi-final on Tuesday resulted in another win for the Latin American team from Puerto Rico, who beat EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) 10-0.

The Big League World Series, which is being held in Easley, began on July 27 with 11 teams- 5 international and 5 U.S. teamsm, plus the District 1 host team. The teams have played a total of 24 games, narrowing the pool down to the final two teams.
