Art Doll Making Workshop with Lois Bro. 10:00 a.m. - noon, 1 hour lunch break, continue 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Pickens County Museum. Students will start their unique doll by stuffing the pre-sewn cloth body. Next comes the exciting part of “paint faces decorating” which creates the character of a one of a kind art doll. Students may choose from the provided adornments of various fabrics, beads, ribbons, lace, found objects and fibers. Basic sewing skills are helpful, but not necessary. Glue will be available. Beginners are welcome! All supplies provided but feel free to bring special items you would like to use on your doll. Lunch is not included, so, bring your bag lunch & drink and enjoy the class. For students 12 years and above. Tuition: $65 / $55 for members.
