Fine Arts Center of Easley presents a Shakespeare & Performance workshop. We'll spend four weeks talking about William Shakespeare (and yes, we are of the opinion that he was, in fact, William Shakespeare...and besides, "the play is the thing"). How to act it. How to understand it. How to interpret it. How the plays came to be. And more importantly, how to love it, and use it to make yourself stronger, smarter, happier and prettier. Yes, prettier. You'll have to take the class to figure that one out.
The class is open to anyone over the age of 14, and is $75 for all four weeks, or $25 on a per week basis. You will get on stage and work through scenes, in order to find your inner Judi Dench or Laurence Olivier. The class will be taught by Steve Schultz, who will appear as Macbeth in Easley Amused's production of Macbeth in June. Please call 864.442.6027 for more details, or to register.
