On May 4, 2012, at the Reedy River Jazz and Wine Festival, Jean received an award for keeping jazz alive in the state of South Carolina.  On May 31, 2012, she received word that her song, I GOT A THING FOR YOU, won the R&B category in the Eastcoast Songwriting Contest.

Accompanying Jean is the very talented Dale Burke on the keyboard and the nimble-fingered John Brookshire on upright bass.

Dancing pairs up well with this music, but so does active listening.  We encourage both!
