Many of our native and naturalized medicinal plants are at risk of becoming extinct due to loss of habitat and over-harvesting. Black Cohosh, Blue Cohosh, Lady’s Slipper, Bloodroot and Trillium are a just a few of the plants listed on the United Plant Savers “To Watch” and “At Risk” lists. It is up to us to insure these medicinal powerhouse plants survive for our grandchildren, their grandchildren, and for the sake of Mother Earth.
