Teen Advisory Board Meets

All teens are invited to attend the first meeting of the Teen Advisory Board on Thursday, August 9 at 4pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley.

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of teenagers who meet once a month to discuss what they’re reading, what they’d like to see at the library, or just to hang out and talk.  Members get to have a hands-on role in making the library a more fun place to hang out.  Any teenager, aged 13-18, who is currently enrolled in middle or high school can join.  Members get to help create library programming specifically for teenagers, earn volunteer hours, meet other teens who love to read, and suggest new titles that the library should carry.

If you’re interested in joining, pick up an application at any library branch or just drop in on a meeting to see what it’s all about!  Starting August 9, we’ll meet on the second Thursday of each month at 4pm at the Hampton Memorial Library in Easley.
