Wayne Gilstrap is a local resident who has Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. He was diagnosed 3 years ago. Presently, he has been in the hospital since the beginning of February. with complications resulting in a series of operations. As a result, his wife has not been able to work and of course Wayne hasn't. We are holding a fund raiser Sunday, April 28th, to raise money, it will be a walk around Pickens. Preregistration is $15 and will include a t-shirt. You can preregister at T.C. The deadline is April 6th for preregistration. The cost on the day of the event will be $15 and t-shirts will be sold separately for $10. We are also taking sponsorship for the back of shirt starting at $100. ALL PROCEEDS will go to Wayne.
