Grand Jury Indicts Easley, Pickens Residents

United States Attorney Bill Nettles says that a Federal Grand Jury has indicted several Easley and Pickens residents for conspiring to create and pass fraudulent prescriptions.

Richard Jody Silvers, age 43, of Pickens, South Carolina; Heath Anderson Cash, age 29, of Easley, South Carolina; Shelley Nicole Dillard, age 26, of Easley, South Carolina; and Gabriel E. Calderon, age 26, of Easley, South Carolina; were charged in a single-count Indictment with conspiring to create and pass fraudulent prescriptions, a violation of Title 21, United States Code, Section 846. 

The maximum penalty Richard Jody Silvers, Heath Anderson Cash, Shelley Nicole Dillard, and Gabriel E. Calderon could receive is 20 years imprisonment.  The case was investigated by agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney William J. Watkins, Jr. of the Greenville office for prosecution.

Nettles said that all charges in these Indictments are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
