Mr. Luther Douglas Ramey, 65, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Easley, a son of the late John C. and Marie Sams Ramey, Mr. Ramey was a retired HVAC technician, a US Army Veteran and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are four sons, David Brian Ramey (Donna) of Lafayette, TN, Bradley Allen Ramey of Easley, Scott Douglas Ramey of Pickens and Richard Dean Ramey of Easley; one daughter, Melissa Ann Smith of Pickens; three brothers, James Floyd Ramey of Liberty, Bruce V. Ramey of Easley and Harvey W. Ramey of Pickens; one sister, Jean Smith of Liberty; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ramey was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Pendleton Street Baptist Church, Easley.
Visitation will be Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.
