Meet the Teacher, Registration Events Scheduled

It's hard to believe but summer is nearly over for Pickens County students.

School District of Pickens County Elementary Schools will host Meet the Teacher events August 16 from 3-6pm.

The district's middle schools will also host Meet the Teacher events in August.

Gettys Middle School will host a Meet the Teacher event for 7^th and 8^th graders 11am to 2pm Tuesday,

August 14. Sixth graders at Gettys can meet their teachers 4pm-7pm Tuesday, August 14.

Simpson ACE's Meet the Teacher day will be held from 11am – 7pm Thursday August 16.

Dacusville Middle School's Meet the Teacher event will be 4pm-7pm Thursday, August 16 for all grades.

Pickens Middle School will host a 6^th Grade Rookie Camp from 8:30am – 1:30pm Thursday, August 9.

The school will host a Meet the Teacher for all grades from 3:30pm-6:30pm Thursday, August 16.

Liberty Middle School's Meet the Teacher for 6^th graders 9am-1pm Friday August 10. Seventh and eighth graders can meet their teachers from 4pm to 7pm Thursday, August 16.

Edwards Middle School's sixth graders can meet their students 1:30pm-6:30pm Tuesday, August 14. The Meet the Teacher event for 7^th and 8^th graders at Edwards Middle will be held from 1:30pm-6:30pm Monday, August 13.

High School students will register from July 31- August 2.

Liberty High School will hold registration for all grades 10am-6pm Tuesday, July 31.

Seniors and juniors at Easley, Pickens and Daniel High School will register on noon to 6pm on Tuesday, July 31.

Sophomores at Easley, Pickens and Daniel will register from noon to 6pm Wednesday, August 1.

Freshmen at Easley, Pickens and Daniel will register from noon to 6pm on Thursday, August 2.

Daniel High School students will register at the Edwards Middle School registration, due to school construction.

Late registration for all schools will be held noon to 4pm Tuesday, August 7.
