There's a chance we'll see some afternoon thunderstorms mainly after 4 p.m., but otherwise it will be sunny and hot.

Attention strategy game enthusiasts- the Hampton Memorial Library has the perfect venue for an afternoon of brain exercises. The Easley Chess club has just three more events planned for the summer, so you better act fast! The club welcomes kids ages 6 and up of all skill levels to come and play. The Chess Club will meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 4 p.m. Best part- this club is totally free!

For those who are ready for the weekend, even though it's only Thursday, The Starving Artist Cafe has just what you need to make it through. Stop by the cafe at 7 p.m. for some live, local music to entertain you and your fellow night owls. The cafe has hosted local favorites like Matthew Phillips and Shain Stewart on Thursday and Friday nights. Don't forget to tip your local starving musicians!
