Good morning Easley! Today is Saturday, July 21, 2012 and there are 162 days left in the year. 

A pancake breakfast is being held 7:30 - 10am at Fatz Cafe in Easley. Proceeds will be given to the family of Sgt. 1st Class Matthew Bradford "Brad" Thomas. Tickets are $7.  

The Pickens County Cancer Association is holding a yard sale this morning at their office, located at 444 Hampton Avenue in Pickens. The yard sale will be held from 8am - 1pm.

The Easley Farmers Market will be open from 8am - 12pm today. The band Sunlit Moon is slated to play at the market today. For upcoming Farmers Market events, click here.

There's a full day of events going on today at the Hagood Mill in Pickens, including a Songwriters' Showcase. The concert starts at noon, but the mill opens at 10am. Watch one of the last remaining gristmills at work grinding corn. I'd also recommend watching the cotton ginning slated for 11am. It's really neat to watch that machine at work.
