themselves with the skills necessary to solve problems facing our
community in the 21st Century.
This year's recipients are:
Brad Bowen Dustin Byers
Megan Burgess Justin Gardo
Lauren Looper Stephanie Link
Morgan Looper Amie Ellison
Shannon Ellenburg Andy Rackley
Alicia Massingill Charles Musselwhite

Since its inception, the Scholarship Foundation has awarded over
$245,000 to law enforcement personnel and/or their children. These
scholarships are made possible through concerned businesses and
individuals that donated to and participated in the Sheriff's
Scholarship Foundation Golf Tournament.
To honor Sheriff C. David Stone for his foresight and belief in the golf
tournament to raise funds to assist in rising educational expenses, The
Scholarship Committee has renamed the annual golf tournament to The
Sheriff C. David Stone Invitational. The 2012 Tournament will be held
Tuesday, October 2nd at the Pickens Country Club. For information and
registration for this twenty fourth annual tournament, contact the
Pickens County Sheriff's Office at 898-5529.
