Pickens Man Charged in Easley Store Robbery
Investigators say second suspect expected to be charged as investigation continues.

A Pickens man has been charged with robbing an Easley convenience store.
Cornelius Dante Burgess, 22, of 108 Rosemond Street, Pickens, is charged with attempted armed robbery and robbery while armed with a deadly weapon.
According to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office report, the robbery happened at the Spinx Store located at 3785 Farrs Bridge Road in Easley on Thursday, June 7.

A man wearing a mask entered the store at 11:30pm. The suspect held the clerk at gunpoint and demanded she open the cash register, the release said. He then fled the store with $52 in cash.
Investigators with the Pickens County Sheriff's Office say a second suspect is expected to be charged and arrested as the investigation continues.
