Police Seek Firehouse Subs Armed Robber

A masked man robs Firehouse Subs of over $2,000

Easley police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Firehouse Subs in Easley on Saturday.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on Saturday a masked man entered the Firehouse Subs restaurant on Calhoun Memorial Highway and demanded money from three employees, according to police.

There was also one customer in the restaurant at the time of the robbery, police said. No injuries were reported.

Employees handed over approximately $2,000 to the robber before he fled the restaurant. Witnesses described the suspect as a black male who was approximately 5'8"-5'9" between 160-180 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and grey Nike shoes, according to police.
