Public Invited To Tour Renovated Libety Middle School

Open House will be held 4pm - 5:30pm Saturday, September 22 and will be followed by concert at 7pm.

Liberty Middle School is happy to invite the community to come and tour its newly renovated building from 4:00-5:30 pm on Saturday, September 22.

The school is housed in the building that used to be Liberty High School. According to principal Donivan Edwards, the renovations have made the interior look like a brand new facility.

"We are so proud of our new school, and we want the residents of Liberty to come and see the many changes that have made to this building," Edwards said.

Following the open house, at 7:00 pm Liberty Middle School will be proud to present the Smokey Mountain Brass Quintet on the school’s new stage.

These world class musicians have entertained audiences all over the United States, in eight foreign countries and on three continents.

“Liberty Middle is excited to christen our new stage with this outstanding group.  They have played in the greatest concert halls in the world. I have no doubt they will bring a thrilling performance to our community,” Edwards said.
