SWU names faculty/staff of year

Southern Wesleyan University students, faculty and staff selected two employees to be honored during convocation ceremonies April 24 at Newton Hobson Chapel on the campus in Central. At left, Charles Wimphrie, head basketball coach, was named Staff Member of the Year. At right, Dr. Melanie Rowell, professor of music, was named Faculty Member of the Year. Nominations for Rowell’s honor were submitted by students, faculty and staff, then selected by a committee.
