Teams Continue to Vie for Big League World Series

The Canadian Big League Championship begins Tuesday on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada to determine who will advance to the Big League World Series in Easley next week, according to the Cape Breton Post. The Cape Breton Dodgers have won the national title for the past two years.

Back in the U.S., four teams in the Southwest will battle today for a chance to play to Easley. the Louisiana District 5 team will play against the Texas West regional team and Louisiana District 2 will face Texas East, according to the Ruston Leader. The winner of each will play to determine who will be headed to the Big League World Series.

The Netherlands has taken the title for the second year in a row in the Europe, Middle East, and African (EMEA) regional series and will head to Easley for another shot at the title, according to the Pickens Sentinel.
