Come join the friends of the Pickens County Museum as “Music in the Mountains 2012” continues with the Hagood Mill hosting a special “Rolling Waterwheel Gospel Revue” concert  on Saturday, August 18.

Starting at 12:00 and continuing until 3:00 on the outdoor stage, will be the sounds of “Last Road,” one of the region’s top bluegrass groups. This free concert will also feature the “Hagood Harpists,” a group that meets and performs at the mill on the fourth Saturday of each month, and gospel singer, Alton Childress.

Bring a lawn chair and plan on staying a while for some great, uplifting gospel music! Bring your instrument too, as there are usually a couple of jams going on around the site. The old gristmill and other demonstrations will be running from 10:00 until 4:00.
