Today you can brush up on your typing skills with the Keyboarding Class and learn about some online resources to help you. This class will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the computer lab.

Tonight Easley City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting starting at 7 p.m. after a special executive session to discuss a contractual matter at 6:15 p.m. The council will address a new ordinance for a city council election plan, a proposal for the sale of 618 East Main St. to Bowers Emergency Services, and announce a resolution to award a contract to Saddlebrook Construction to replace the Pinewood Drive Bridge.

The Pickens County Planning Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the main conference room at the county administrative building at 222 McDaniel Avenue in Pickens.
