• USC Beaufort to build new student housing. Here's where, what to expect (islandpacket.com) — USC Beaufort is planning its first on-campus housing at the Hilton Head Island hospitality campus, giving upper-level students a new place to live right off Pope Avenue near Coligny. Another complex for first-year students is slated for the Bluffton campus. Both projects are in master planning now, with construction to follow once designs are finalized and bids secured.
   

• Cape Cod's Marconi Beach Ranks Among Safest U.S. Beaches with A+ Safety Grade (wror.com) — Hilton Head Island's beaches, including Coligny and Palmetto Dunes, earned a spot on a new list of U.S. beaches with the lowest risk of theft, based on crime and visitor data. While Cape Cod's Marconi Beach ranked second overall, the findings reinforce Hilton Head's reputation as a relatively safe, visitor‑friendly destination for locals and tourists alike.
